HANGOUT UK (United Kingdom)
Starting on Friday September 9th, from midday, HangOut UK is a weekend event for people passionate about the HandPan from across the world to come and join together to learn new techniques and play Handpans and other similar sound sculptures. During the weekend various performances and workshops will be available in the Barn and Chicken Shed or down by the river, as well as a chance for people to jam or perform music of their own during the open mic sessions. On each night there will be some firepits where we’d like to encourage people to play music and enjoy the open space. (weather depending of course)
Finishing on Sunday 11th September people are welcome to camp over on the Sunday night as the weekend isn’t quite over yet; another night of music, open mics and musical fun is in order to end the weekend’s HangOut. We will also be running a raffle again this year with tickets being sold throughout the weekent. If anyone has anything else they would like to donate to the raffle then please see Rob and Kelly over the weekend and before Saturday night performance time. The HangOut’s very own PA system was purchased out of the money taken from the 2014 raffle!
Mellow farm is an established family run farm dating back to 1566. Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside on the outskirts of the historic market town of Farnham, Mellow farm nestles in a river valley with woodlands and rural life all around.
